Aura Borealis is our public television and radio show. Originally running on UNC Asheville’s Blue Echo Radio in 2010 – 2011, the show was revived for Fairfax Public Access and Radio Fairfax in 2015.
The radio show began with performances from Nouri Hacene, Krobopl, Tristan Welch, and Neverending Audit.
The TV show began in 2017 and has featured numerous guests such as David Liebe Hart, Larry Wish, Kevin Greenspon, Euglossine, J. Hamilton Isaacs, Plake 64 & The Hexagrams, Edmonsons, Creative Healing, and Trigger.
The show’s origins can be traced back to our time working with Ingrown Fest (2011 – 2014) and the Experimental Asheville Facebook page (2010 – 2013).
You can catch the radio show on Mixcloud and Fairfax Public Access Channel 27 (Comcast) and 37 (Verizon, Cox). TV show airs on Fairfax Public Access Channel 10 in Northern Virginia.
